Ajiri Coffee - Products That Give Back

Ajiri Tea Company

Started by Sara Holby, Kate Holby and their mother, Ann Funkhouser, the Ajiri Tea Company was founded on the goal of creating employment for women in western Kenya. Since women tend to reinvest over 90% of their earnings back into their families, they look to employ them to hand make the labels for the tea boxes and the twines that go inside. 100% of the net profits go back to Kenya to pay school fees for orphans. Ajiri Tea Company is now sponsoring 29 orphans in school and is employing four dr different women’ s groups.

Chico Bag

At ChicoBag, our mission is to help humanity bag the single-use habit. We mean the wasteful, throw-away habit that overflows our landfills and clogs our oceans. We do this by advocating for waste reduction and designing the highest quality, longest lasting reusable bags.

We partner with organizations, businesses, and schools who share our mission by co-branding our bags and a curated collection of other quality reusable alternatives to single-use waste.

We offer products that empower people to take an active role in solving the single-use problem. At ChicoBag, we make bagging the single-use habit easy.

Flying Scarfs

Our mission is to help bring people in under-developed countries out of poverty through economic opportunity. With your help, we can make these goals a reality.

Flying Scarfs is a not-for-profit team of military officers and volunteers that seek to be an engine of change by building the necessary bridges so that underdeveloped countries may one day flourish in a global economy. Our goal is to promote microeconomic development around the world in order to provide comprehensive networks of stability with a concentration in providing opportunities for women to succeed.

In short, this means we buy from the “small guys” through localized economies while promoting peace, both at home and abroad. We intend to ultimately make a change by providing a “hand up” rather than a “handout.”

If You Care

The environment is everybody’s concern. IF YOU CARE® is committed to providing the consumer with responsible high-quality alternatives to conventional products that are safe for both the environment and human beings by using 100% unbleached or 100% recycled resources.

IF YOU CARE® premium quality paper products are made from 100% unbleached paper. The aluminum foil is made from 100% recycled aluminum. Using these environment-friendly products won’t affect the taste of your coffee or baked goods, but will help reduce the amount of toxins in our lakes and streams. When manufacturing recycled aluminum only 5% of the energy required for manufacturing primary aluminum is used. Due to the lightness of the material, large amounts of transport energy is saved. Every care has been taken to ensure that IF YOU CARE® products, their packaging, and the processes used in their manufacture conform to strict standards for the conservation and protection of our greatest asset – the environment.
